NO FIP VACCINE:
Please do not
allow anyone to give this cat a vaccine for Feline infectious Peritonitis.
According to recent reports, this vaccine is totally ineffective
and may predispose your cat
to this disease.
NO RABIES OR FELINE LEUKEMIA VACCINATIONS: It
is our feelings at this time that the
Risk of contracting either of these diseases is far less than the severe
reactions and even deaths that
are occurring now by the vaccinations. Hopefully better and safer
vaccines will be available in the future.
until then, Just say NO.
* If it is an ordinance in
your neighborhood that compels you by law to get the Rabies Vaccine,
wait until
the cat is at least one year old, and do not combine it with any other
vaccine of any kind or in
conjunction with a surgery of any kind.
SPAY/NEUTER: Pet kittens are
spay/neutered and have had their kitten shots, no other vet work is
necessary
until given their kitten shot
booster at 1 yr of age and then only every 4 years
after that. When a total
of 3 boosters is given, your cat has immunity for life. Do not get
anymore boosters after
this point. If you do, it will shorten the life your cat from kidney and
liver toxicity.
FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
-
Water:
Water must be fresh and available at all times.
Dry Food: Life's Abundance - Leave a bowl out at all times.
Soak dry food in warm water and feed on a flat
plate, topdress it with chicken, turkey, beef cut up in small pieces or
your canned food.
Canned Food: Instinctive Choice - You may add the canned
food to the soaked dry food. You may substitute
cooked chicken, turkey, tuna or beef (no pork) instead
of canned cat food. Mix 1/3 cup dry or soaked with 1
can of food.
No Changes: Please do not make any changes to your
kitten's diet; severe intestinal upsets may occur which
could endanger your kitten's life. If the stool gets loose on your
kitten, you are probably feeding it to much
canned food, or not enough dry, soaked food.
Do Not use Milk: Milk can cause intestinal upsets and make
your kitten very ill; but 4% cottage cheese is very
good for them and they love it. Once in a while,
a little tbsp of Evaporated milk is okay.
Not Easting: IT is perfectly normal for a new kitten to be
slightly of its feeding schedule for a few days. Just give
your kitten plenty of love and attention while it is
adapting to its new environment, and it will resume eating.
If your kitten does not eat at all, you should encourage it by feeding
it canned food from your fingers.
Houseplants: Most houseplants are poisonous to cats.
Please eliminate them or hang them where they cannot
be reached, but be sure that no leaves drop where the cat can eat them.
I Accept this contract - vaccination, feeding instructions and altering
agreement -
